You've obviously become confused about the principle of separation of church and state, BirdDog.

The Federal Reserve is confused too. All Federal Reserve notes and coins have "In God We Trust" on them. At least all the denominations that are small enough to find their way into my pocket.

Speaking of currency ...

The U. S. Postal Service has apparently been listening to Dr. Id. Their vending machine gave me six dollar coins as change but would only take four of them. The same machine gives the new stamps, of course, but won't take the new $20 bills. And after trying to feed it nine $1 bills to no avail (five of which were provided by the U. S. P. S. and looked as new as any bill ever looked) I finally gave up and asked them to consider the $5.80 I had put into the machine as a down payment for stamps they could give me over the counter.

The confusion lies in your forgetting the basis of law....Morality.... Without it we would have chaos.
It has nothing to do with separation of church and state.
