I'll presume, then, that UMTS is on a problem-free schedule, all standards are set in stone, GPRS is likewise doing fine, just peachy, and EDGE is a reality that needs to be unpacked from the box in order to be used tomorrow.

Three handsets in a buggy Isle of Man network do not make 3G. But if they do, I'm thrilled. No need for insecticide to spray on GPRS and no bandages for the bleeding EDGE. Onward straight to 3G! More $ for the Q and therefore for me.

Got it covered either way.
