Ever hear of the House of Hapsburg?? They were so greedy they did not desire even far flung royal blood in their line and line-bred and inbred. They developed recessive medical traits peculiar to themselves, i.e. the Hapsburg chin.

chuckdyasdoc.com What this link does not show (and I can't find) is many of them could barely chew because of the disorder.

Well, the thesis may be rather vague, but a dissertation possibly.
I'm planning - ye gods of finance willing - to stop work maybe in 2002/2003 and change path, do a history degree (focussing on ancient/1st millennium/mediaeval range, with minors of anthropology and possibly psych. or sociology...): I've been solidifying this in mind for a few years now. Of course, life and plans can change fast with events :-|
Useful combo of degrees, really: chemistry/business and then history <g>
