Victor, you are so short sighted. EVERY TECHNOLOGY GOES THROUGH TIMES LIKE THE ONE 3G IS GOING THROUGH. In addition, every technology takes longer to deploy than the hypesters originally thought. That's a fact. In the quote below, they didn't say they weren't going to deploy it. They simply said it would take more time. Were you one of those people that used to say you'll never need a faster PC because DOS was good enough for you? Oh no, I remember you. You were one of those who said they'll never need a faster modem than 2400 baud. Oh wait! I forgot. You were the guy who said that cell phones were just a fad and a pretentious one at that. Those things will never catch on. No, no. Now I remember, you were the guy who said he'd never spend any money on a car because your horse gets you there fast enough.

Do you even know who Victor Lazlo was? He was the namesake for the guy who invented forensic investigatory techniques in a Caleb Carr novel. He was a pioneer in the world of profiling serial killers. Yet, you certainly aren't a pioneering thinker. You should change your alias to Doubting Thomas. :)

"Then on Tuesday, an NTT official told a Singapore audience that the company won’t be able to cover all of Japan with 3G for at least three years."

“We will be the first in the world to offer 3G, but we want to provide 100% reliability,” a DoCoMo spokesman.
