Valid point, I was taking it that a good portion are already wiped out, and that the survivor(s) will prosper. Tauzin's bill is not a layup IMO it still hass to get into and through conference etc. I have an avg. of 12.65 on this and a fewK $$$$ of it at margin, just so you know what I am pullin for. I expect the shorts have covered and we should have a year of consolidation.

Agreed, Doug. The story at the end of 2001 will be much grimmer, with Winstar, Teligent, ICG, and many others on the slab. The RBOC strategy of delay, delay, delay and use your political muscle behind closed doors seems to have worked. XOXO, MCLD and two or three others may survive, but will be targeted as the BOCs try to expand their footprint into each other's backyards.
