True.

But simply differing from the impeachment thing is not an appropriate basis on which to judge statesmanship. Egad, if that were the test there would be millions of statesmen in America.

Though there's no doubt they were goaded into it.

But I expect a lot more than avoiding wallowing in dog poop before I will give someone the title of statesman.

I have to agree. The defenders of lying, perjuring, justice obstructing, office abusing Clinton were certainly disgusting beyond measure.
