>You blame the Administration for high gas prices? How are they responsible for that?

Since Bush came to power energy prices have gone through roof. I believe in free market but for electricity power generators have deliberately shut down the plants when it is needed most. Dick cheney had who's who of energy companies at his house yesterday for lobby. I have never seen abuse of consumer by this cartel of energy company in my life time. We all know that both Bush and Dick are oil men. But what happened is high way robbery by this cartel, in california people are paying on an average 100 dollars more per consumer on gas & electricity. We Republicans will pay the price in 2002 and we are paying price tomorrow with Jefford. It is the oil lobby and extreme right wing control white house, I am glad for Jefford's decision - though I do not support party changing. IMHO.
