You provide fuel, plastic, and chemicals? You're busy. But plastic gets might hot when it's 95 in the shade. I wouldn't say happy ass. :) An excess is good. It leaves some to provide for those who can't grow. That's a good thing. I don't want to just grow enough to feed America. Why? If we have the climate to grow, grow all we can. A decent living, for a job well done. I don't think anyone is asking for more than that. I don't know any rich farmers. Rich people who farm on the side, but that's different. It's great work. I wouldn't trade it. And I've never, ever gotten a dime from the people of the nation aside from cash for crops. But that's me. But I understand how hard it is to get by, and that good years are followed by bad. The peaches are full this year, but last year they were killed early. It's just the way of things. We decide as a nation to have a supply of food that is not dependent on anyone outside of ourselves. And we decide to see that those who provide that food get by through the lean years, and live a decent life by paying a reasonable price. I live very cheap. I have one pair of dress pants. And one pair of work pants. And one very old car and one even older truck. I don't care for "handouts". Don't need them. And I know computer programming, but prefer my blueberries. How much money do you want to make for providing what you say you do? What sort of house do you want? I could get plastic elsewhere. I could get chemicals elsewhere.
