That is why I supplied this link to show how the Israelites were waiting for a Messiah born of the SEED of david. Genealogy was, of course, traced through the male line. Notice how the genealogy gets all contradictory when Matthew and Luke try to make the case for a virgin birth (all the other religions had one!) 100 years later!! <ggg> Message 15849187
