John--Worrying about competitions has been with CHKP since its day one on the markets. How big the VPN markets are? Someone was talking about $20 billion in three years and someone was expecting $40 billion. How many networking companies are selling VPN products? Almost everyone does! It's like all rats can smell cheese. But how many those competitors provide good VPN products? Only few of them. Yes, CSCO's VPN routers was sold to WCOM recently with low prices. CSCO was writing off big inventory. WCOM was tight in cash. So, the deal was done. NOK is one of CHKP's big partners. Winning Globe Crossing, JNPR beat CSCO. They both are selling VPN routers. The facts that JNPR and CSCO were selected by some telecoms do not mean the VPN products from them are better than CHKP's. Telecoms need to buy routers anyway. VPN is going to be at PC level in the future. This means VPN codes will be encoded into chips. This will ensure the security of every e-commerce transaction. Lehman never build big long positions on CHKP. Their downgrading was aiming to put selling pressure on the last triple witching day. I will stick with the 50% growth guided by Gil. Good luck!
