I don't find that odd, though I'd be annoyed if I lived in Austin. It's not like Intel's biz is firing on all cylinders. Instead, they're spending money on upgrades, new equipment, acquisitions, whatever that's designed to improve business or at least keep them competitive. New buildings when they're shedding workers doesn't make sense. But next gen technology does.

Again, I'm not arguing that things are bright in semiville by any stretch. I just don't like seeing things labeled lies when they don't appear to be. (And no, Dennis, this wasn't meant to pick on you in any way. I see this comment about Intel all over the place and have had this convo before.)
