I'm not at liberty to give details, for reasons that are likely obvious, but the basic gist is that events transpired and philosophies and facts emerged that made it impossible for me to, in good conscience, continue to work for the company or continue to give it the backing of my erstwhile good reputation.

You need to look at the persons posting in support of Bob, and the persons posting in opposition to Bob, and decide which group seems more honest and credible to you.
