Off topic [if that's possible] ... came looking for Poet - #reply-15856131 ... then find a farewell post from her on her Options thread .... very bright chap there on the winter thread is exploring the idea of quantifying the value of resources stocks as options ... which is what they are, essentially, imho Physical is great, feels good to hold and represents the ultimate in security provided that you bury it deep and then remember where, but it doesn't have the leverage ... should there come a metals recovery, the juniors will be giving the best returns ... also the greater risk of course, as everybody and his dog will be touting some paper machine of a drillbit play in the middle of some budding civil war But anyway, if anyone has any thoughts on miners expressed as options, feel free on the Winter thread ... hope Poet doesn't stay away long, i just met her over on iHub a few weeks ago, lurked old posts on Options box and found considerable of interest ... always meant to learn more about options ....
