Well Interceptors would most likely go out and visually identify the plane. They would most likely hang around and make sure the really really well trained chinese pilots don't run into any passenger aircraft. And no protests would be made and in effect no danger or threat would be perceived, well except for bad driving under the influence of zen's thinking methods. And that's what would happen.
