Dear Rich4eagle: Not if they were 70 MILES offshore as we were. I live along the Fla coast, Russian subs used to REGULARLY patrol about 12 miles off coast. International law allows anything to go on beyond the 12 mile border, this dispute with China is regarding what they as compared to International Maritime law describe as borders. Anyhow, its basically over with FOR NOW so whats the beef? JDN
