UF,
with power problems, high wages, outrageous home prices, and high taxes, silicon valley is probably not very high on the list of sites for corporations to move to nor to start up in.

your earlier hunches look to be right...
if this trend in SV commercial real estate continues, the grossly inflated residential values are going to become very very soft. i would be surprised if you are not seeing signs of that now.

can you short real estate?
