Investing is not about the long term. It's about measuring your risk

So investing is all about short-term worries and concerns, many of which may not be there in twelve months? If this were true, there would NEVER be a time to invest in an AMAT or CSCO or INTC or ANY Company for that matter because there are ALWAYS risks and considerable ones at that, especially in the technology sector. How many articles have I posted over the past eight months that point to very negative trends short-term, and yet you claim Cary is the only one who talks about risk?!?!

Thank you very much for attempting to share your insight. You may continue building your bomb shelter now:-)

You seem to have investing confused with trading. Investing IS about the long term. Of course, one must still consider risk, etc.

JMHO.
