My problem is getting my napster files from the old pc.

I have that problem too. I asked a computer geek friend about it recently, and he suggested two possible solutions:

1. Borrow a friend's external CD burner and burn the MP3's onto CD's, then rip them onto the new PC......essentially use the CD's themselves as your storage device....there are a couple of different ways to do it, depending on the device and the time you want to spend.....

2. Network the two pc's together (I am considering doing this anyway for other reasons, and for me it would be easy since the computers are a few feet apart in the same room....though even if they aren't you can do it with a wireless network or through the phone lines, and I am told it is not expensive either way)...anyway, if you network the PC's together, transferring the music files...or anything else...to the new pc is really easy.

I am sure there are other ways too....I'm not an expert on this stuff. There is a thread on SI where you can ask questions about computing tips in general, and some of the people there are really smart and helpful....you might want to post the question there and link us all to the answer.....
