I'm not so sure about the trading range thing... looks like per the pr they will be able to participate in gains should the stock appreciate (although I'm sure that it isn't the same % gain had they just held the shares instead of doing this collar).

Not good enough, I want you to explain in detail how you think he's capped the stock.Is that too much to ask? The statement by PCG says they will still participate in the "majority" of any price appreciation. It says nothing about capping the price appreciation as you are surmising. It's clear he didn't just outright write calls on the 10 mil shares.
