Thanks, Paul. We had free ice cream last week in celebration of the PTQ granted to the Itanium/460GX platform. Doesn't sound like much, but in these days of cost-cutting, anything free from Intel is a good thing. ;-) For me personally, it's been almost four years since I joined up and started working on the 460GX project. Before that, I was just a naive college grad. Because of that, these past four years almost seems like an entire lifetime for me. It'll be strange now that I no longer have to wonder whether anything I work on will ever see the light of day. You probably know this already, but plans are already being laid out for a third generation of Itanium processors and platforms. There are some ambitious (if not revolutionary) ideas being tossed around by the paid brainiacs. Stay tuned, and in the meantime enjoy the ride. Oh, and thanks for keeping everyone on this thread updated with the Itanium press releases and announcements. I hope this is just the beginning ... Tenchusatsu
