Makes sense to me ALTERN, at the least, we should get a bounce soon or we may resume uptrend. Either way you win. SOX is at support {I hope} added NVLS.

Going long here will all I've got! God save me! Do you see a reason to go long here? I don't see it. All. . .The way this market has broken down in the past week, has me more confident that we are headed toward a test of the April 4th low in June. . .rather than the traditional October. The Naz 100 / QQQ is close to breaking an important support level. I am busy looking for Short-sell opportunities to counter the declining market. Many of the same names that we scored home-runs with last week with our many successful swing trades. . . . are now prime short-sell opportunities. That is simply how this game works. Longs are headed to the water parks and beaches. . . the big traders are long gone to Europe. And from here through October, we traders are for the most part on our own. I just don't see the sort of long support out there. . . necessary to justify a holding of these levels. Yes, I do believe that the mutual funds will jump in at some point to "save the day". . . but I don't think that will happen until after we have sufficiently tested the April 4 low. I am sorry for my unpopular view of the markets. I guess my views have never been "popular". I've been bearish since early May. . .as documented: Message 15787294 Message 15755108 Message 15841577 . . . [though I will take part in swing trades, whether the Naz is at 5000 or 500.] The powers that be are simply not going to make it easy for longs to recover their losses through buy and hold. . . a strategy we gave up here a long long time ago. . . except for our SAMs. Rande Is
