Ethanol is not as clean as they might have you believe. Ethanol also requires a lot of water to produce. If it was to be used in the amounts that you suggest, how much water will that take? Where will that water come from? Where does the electricity to power electric cars in California come from?? ~SB~

It takes more energy to make ethanol than it is worth as an internal combustion fuel.
