Ali:

Maybe Sun has learned this before yourself?

I think Sun has no concept of latency of memory devices. I was going to add in addition to my multi-faceted post that RDRAM repeater technology is not optimal in terms of terms of performance to RDRAM without repeaters. You are smart enough to know this and to know what characteristics of memory solutions for servers would possess and where latency fits in terms of importance as a concern for servers. I am not going to get into the debate of server vs desktop memory strategies except to state the current Intel position. RDRAM for workstations and desktops depending on price; DDR for servers, SDRAM for value systems.

I think Sun is wondering about short side of a RMBS position he may have. Somehow today stock price action is different than he may have expected. I currently profess not to have a clue about it's stock valuation except that it seems a little on the low side but is very dependent on courts in Italy, Germany and soon to be Delaware.
