Many people would prefer that felons do not vote or at least formally petition to get their rights back. The implications of a a purge of felons from the voter rolls is interesting. Are black voters saying, "boy, that voter roll purge of felons is going to hurt our turnout, what a dirty trick!"? Or is it just the Democratic Party that is thinking and saying this?
