"It is unfortunate that the high road of logical truth must sometimes be defended in muddy lowland swamps."

It is indeed, however it is you that are in de swamp. Attacking me for positions, I do not hold.(which is your favorite tactic) I have said quite clearly that If you could demonstrate that Jesus did not rise from the dead that I would abandon my belief in Christianity. That is not any more fixed than your position, so my Position is on an equal footing with yours in that respect, but you have rejected it out of hand as unworthy, even of consideration. Then you throw this absurd, and clearly self refuting statement, to the effect that absolute statements of fact are impossible to make, unless one possessed or were themselves absolute.

SORRY. When you claim you possess ABSOLUTE TRUTH, then you claim it as a part of you. You cannot possess ABSOLUTE TRUTH unless you are God. Only God, if She exists, has that capacity. Every part of you is severely limited: your sight, your hearing, your brain functioning, your comprehension of IDEAS. You do not possess ABSOLUTE TRUTH. You are perpetrating a fraud on top of a delusion.

I did not claim to be absolute, someone else did, and He also claimed to be God which by your definition allows Him to do so. Am I absolutely sure He is right in His claims? No, but I'm sure enough to commit to it.

I only asked the question. Are you absolutely sure about your own statement? If you are, then the statement itself is false or you are god, and may, (by your own definition) have absolute surety about it. If you are not, then how can you A prori, reject my belief that an objective moral standard exists?
