Hi Step1, The number is important, because I remember there was a time when the average age of cars in the US was really old (10+ years), and it was, historically speaking, right before the boom. I actually feel better that we, the thread, has a pair of eyes on the ground in Japan, even if just from a lurker, and hopefully occasionally for the reflections. Between the US, Germany, Japan, China, Canada, and Hong Kong, I think we got the important places covered :0) Chugs, Jay
