Don Hays who often is very good seems to have gone off the deep end. His emerging theme is a new huge bull market begins by 2003 because of the spread of DEMOCRACY AND DEFLATION. Of course what he really means is total US world domination. Deflation and democracy are deadly enemies. The 1930s depression came close to destroying democracy here in the US. And the Hays thesis that all the lesser nations will forever keep striving to flood the US with high quality goods at cheap prices regardless of US payment deficits strikes me as incredibly naive and chauvinisitc.
