Ah, but yoga does not promise eternal life. Until (maybe if?) it can be achieved through science, that promise is going to have a strong attraction to many people. Notice how many religions contain it? Even Buddhism has something like it with re-incarnation. Yoga does not promise punishment after death for those who get away with outrages in this one. These things are not going to go away because of the passage of time or the advance of technology. It sounds like you have found yourself a religious hobbyhorse you like and are trying to sell it to the world. Doesn't this seem rather typical really?
