That is good...I understand making a mess on top to organize underneath... I went through a "from scratch pie making phase"...until even my neighbors screamed "uncle, said they were piling on the pounds"...but anyhow, I did have a purpose to this when I started out. Oh yes, I scribbled all over my cookbook until I was the only one who could understand the recipes. I bought a new cookbook and neatly added all the corrections and have it to this day. As a PS, I will never go through that much work again...but I did make a killer peach pie!
