LG, I enjoy Haim's market insights, but I think we should all be posting here for a constructive purpose - to help fathom the direction of the market and delve into the technicals that will affect it.

Since I'm pretty certain I'm on ignore with Haim (for what, I don't know) it may seem insane that I'm defending him.

I agree with you that we should keep the thread pretty on topic. I've been guilty of straying as well, but I do agree with Zeev that the issues in the ME do affect market direction. I believe where we become divisive is when we try to delve into the issues and derive right or wrong.

Rather than moderating the ME, we should be discussing how it could impact the market. If we stay on that track, we should keep out of divisive issues.

Maybe you could just put Haim on double secret probation or something.

LG,

<If this is what most of the regulars on MDD want, then so be it!>

Ah, it appears perhaps then there is room for adjustment....?
If I were to "vote", then I would vote for allowing occasional forays into off-topic land. For the most part,
the thread does a great job of keeping itself on topic.
I think Haim has been a valuable contributor on this thread for longer than I know....and I for one don't mind at all reading his opinions of which he very strongly believes and of which he is highly educated in regards to. He seems quite cordial for the most part and I have no problem censoring for myself what I choose not to read.
I respect what you have done creating this thread and the countless and thankless hours you have devoted to it.
FWIW, I also believe it would reflect well on you as well to allow change, if that's what the majority wants. Not sure what the majority here really wants, I am just offering my one person's opinion....
As always,
Best Regards,
Eichler
