On the subject of income taxes: Even though I am for the abolishment of the 16th amendment, I don't think I will see it in my lifetime. Here is some legislation that Dick Armey and Richard Shelby have been trying to get passed for the last few years. I thought it was interesting. flattax.house.gov

If you want to bankrupt the government and give all the money to the rich you'll be very happy with Bush tax cuts. The Big Lie the GOP tells is "it's your money", but they never say "it's your debt". In fact the government's money IS our money and so is their debt. No difference. And if you were running your household budget would you borrow more at the cost of health care and your kids futures or would you pay off your credit card debts first? The GOP has forgotten fiscal conservatism.
