Exactly the point. Essentially, you could build an XBox clone using a P4 instead of a PIII. This would seriously boost performance.

Sort of. XBox has an integrated GeForce3 and Crush has a GeForce2 and that sorta makes this difficult, especially if there is a 12 month delay for a Crush-like chipset with a GeForce3.

Besides, Microsoft would have to cooperate. XBox is not software compatible with Windows of any stripe. Yeah, I know, dumb decision by Microsoft, but there it is...
