the_wheel, Bonjour. Funny, I breezed through "Candide" a couple of months ago (english/paperback). A tragi-comedy of sorts. Ironic story of a poor love-struck slob who just can't seem to cut a break in that everything seems to go wrong. Even when he catches up to the love of his life finally after going through hell and beyond, she has changed and he realizes she is no longer what he wants. But, admittedly, as I whacked my head rather harshly not too long ago, I might have hacked that synopsis up a bit with a slightly faulty memory. Even so, I'm sure that work was very amusing in it's day. So, let me see if I got this straight... Greater fool, can't get any worse, CNBC is full of BULL, Greenspan PUT, don't worry - be happy. It occurs to me you are very funny, as funny as Voltaire! N'est pas? Appreciate the humor, mon ami. Regards, Eichler
