From last year it was "The Pledge." It didn't get much attention and probably only made it to the box office because Nicholson was the main character. I left the theater thinking I had gotten my money's worth for a Wednesday night's entertainment, but nothing real special. The movie took a seat in the back of my mind and rolled around for a couple of months until it ended up in a front row seat. I love how it worked on me. The movie was brilliant. The Matrix was the reverse, especially after I saw the "Thirteenth Floor." I still like it but it moved way back.
