Well Derek, that is the issue if we taxed gasoline and subsidized public transportation to make cheap as it is in all other nations we would use less energy and more public transportation. In the US the oil and auto and big republicans want to keep gas cheap and mass transportation expensive which it is, thus americans don't like mass transportation. You see silly, americans don't like mass transportation because it is not cost effective, if it were they would love it
