Thanks Andre, Ausdauer, Ray and Scared but Hopeful for your replies to my comments about NiMh batteries. I had forgotten alkaline batteries were better for low drain applications like remote controls, smoke alarms and urinal flush controls. Where as NiMh batteries were better for high current applications like digital cameras and GPS receivers.
