Speaking of the QQQ, I've been daytrading them for many months, and they do follow the Nasdaq very reliably, more so than msft, but this time of year msft goes up with or without the nasdaq. As for my entry into the QQQ, I follow the nas 500 mini futures. When the futures begin ut'ing, the QQQ will follow approx. 2 minutes later, giving one plenty of time to get in. I hold until the futures begin dt'ing then sell. Purely mechanical entry & exit. Frog
