the sad reality is that no matter what the circumstances or time period, markets that went up as much as ours did never come back in one or two years. they take decades to recover from.<< That all depends the economy in view. I don't see a depression or a war coming and so far it looks like the economy is headed for slow growth with low inflation. I still think we are in a deflationary period and companies with unmanageable high debt will be hit hardest.
