I do like having a very large, protective dog in the house. Her bark is very convincing, and then there are the deep growls, which would frighten me if I wasn't the one being protected. I am not 100% sure what she would do if someone decided to challenge her, but your basic door-to-door salesman type is plenty intimidated.
