In the past the dismal economic outlook would have kept the market down... But, the voice of the interest rate cuts and visions of better times 3 to 9 months down the road seem to be what investors are now focusing on... They know how far and fast a market can go when the bull takes charge... They have a greater fear of missing the launch than being caught in another trip to the April lows... This change in market psychology usually precedes market stabilization and a start of another bull run... Sometimes though, a final retest of the lows comes before the bull takes charge... We'll know which scenario unfolds in the days following the next FED meeting...
