tell us about the .13 intel fabs that build more cpus in one day than amd can hope to build in a year <ggggg>
intel accumulating those cpus right now so it can ship few billions .13 p4s during the holiday season

Re: Also, given that their gate lengths for the fast Athlons at this point are already 0.13 micron like (much moreseo than Intel's interestingly enough), it looks as if they're going to need every bit of help they can just to keep up with Intel's 0.13 micron process....

A point I stressed yesterday. They need .13u transistors NOW just to keep from falling farther behind at a faster and faster pace.

It looks like you're starting to get it. AMD has had a process in production for a year and a half that is close to what Intel is bringing up next month. 6 months from now, AMD will be bringing on line a production process that won't be matched by Intel for another 1 1/2 years.

Review the benchmarks here:
aceshardware.com

Run using standard, regression tested, proven, reliable, code - not some hacked cheater code from Intel's benchmark fraudsters that would likely crash in any production environment.

And see what being 1 1/2 years ahead can get you - and will continue to server AMD's customers.
