Oh yes, there he is, the one and only Bob Grant! Often imitated, but never duplicated. <grin> WOR-AM out of NYC is one of my favorite radio stations. In 1992/93, I did not know who Bob Grant was, but while fooling around with a 60+ year old radio in the basement of the home we just moved into back then that the previous occupants abandoned, I discovered Bob when his voice boomed out over the old electromagnetic speaker on WABC-AM (his previous home) criticizing David Dinkens (the mayor of NYC before Rudolph Guliani) after discovering an old box of radio tubes that still worked decently. After that, my life was never quite the same again. When Bob finally retires, Jay Diamond who used to have the 10pm to 2am spot on WABC-AM in the mid-1990's will probably take over the 3pm to 6pm slot on WOR-AM. Yogi
