Isn't Orbitz the site sponsored by a coalition of airlines? They seem to have accepted the Internet as a permanent and influential way of doing business AND keeping some more of it for themselves. I hope it results in lower fares from the added competition. Kudos to your friend, old-timer that he is. :)
