I do not have any shares now. I did several years ago and sold when it reached an untenable 15 or so. I have followed it down since simply as a matter of interest. If I were a trader or timer, I might be interested. But that's not my way.

I do not subscribe since I have a MAC and Ubet is unfriendly to Apples. But like you I have always appreciated the concept of UBET. But you should know that TVG and UBET are only two of perhaps 1000 or more web sites that take wagers. Many, of course, are scams and based in the Caribbean. Some seem pretty straight, it seems, and I understand they tend to do heavy business with serious betters by offering discounts and other incentives.

But back to TVG-UBet, I am surprised that you say you can see Belmont races on UBET. The whole reason for the alliance and its tough TVG terms is to give UBET access to
TVG's exclusivity with NY racing--Belmont, Aqueduct, Saratoga--and with Churchill and its tracks and another dozen good tracks. That's not supposed to start for a few weeks or more.

The UBET deal with Ladbrokes has been that the latter places the bets. UBET, up to now, has gotten a little something back from Ladbrokes. Your wagering account, I assume, is with Ladbrokes.

Under the new system, UBET will set up its own processing center in Oregon, or perhaps use the present TVG-NTRA center. It says it will continue the Ladbrokes connection as well. I wonder? It gives UBET a whole new look and a menu of tracks that hitherto it was unable to accept wagers or broadcast.

There is much more to the agreement favorable to both and favorable to the NTRA, which will get a small cut of the revenue so that it can improve its marketing programs.

Suggest you might want to look at UBET's 10-K and learn more. Also read the PR release carefully. Trouble with it is that it omits important financial aspects. But it does raise issues that need clarifying. Like what percentage of UBET's subscriber fees will go to TVG, among other questions.
