Sales taxes and property taxes are fairly high here in Texas, though, IMHO.

Nope, have to pay federal, state, and city taxes.

I am out of here in a few years though. I want to live somewhere cheap with good schools and quality of living for my wife and our future kids.

At that point, I'll change my name to AustinTexasMan or VancouverBCGuy or something <ggg>.
