This is an interesting interpretation of monopoly laws. I don't see anyone taking Apple to court over their "monopolistic" practices.

Seems to me Apple has multiple suppliers for most if not all the components in their systems. I don't know how you can even consider this to be monopolistic. As for the ability of software suppliers to write code for their machines, Apple provides developers with superb tools and APIs for that. And these are provided free of charge. How much less monopolistic can one get.
