As for public figures such as CEO's or promoters, it would be illegal for SI to block discussion of them here. Those members here at SI who hold themselves out as public figures forfeit their right to be left out of discussion.

I agree it wouldn't be a good idea for SI to make such a rule, but why would it be illegal?
