Sommetimes you just have to hope that they have the intelligence and luck to get through without serious damage being done to anyone.

Bush is the Pres and he campaigned on the family value philosophy. The Republicans even blamed Susan Smith on the Democrat agenda. If they set themselves up as "the chosen " then they are supposed to have answers. If they claim to know a better path then that path should lead to a more successful result.

Apparently Bush doesn't have any answers which is no surprise to me.

Im not sure about wanting notoriety. Frustrated over not being able to have a normal college experience, no doubt.

I feel sorry for the Bush kids, and I felt sorry for Chelsea Clinton. They don't get to grow up like everyone else, they live in a fishbowl. I wouldn't wish it on anyone.
