And most of those "crimes" have to do with drugs-- that is the truth. A misdemeanors are misdemeanors if they are so labelled. 366 does not make a felony except in Immigration cases. And that is another story... Did you know that they are deporting children LEGALLY ADOPTED as INFANTS for "crimes of moral turpitude"? So, if you shop lift at 18-- and are legally adopted by 2 US citizens-- you can be deported to your "home country"! Like India, Thailand, etc. THAT IS OUTRAGEOUS! I don't care if you committed armed robbery-- if you were legally adopted you are a US citizen and should not be "deported"-- PISSES ME OFF...
