I put "reunited" in quotation marks, as you will see if you go back and re-read my post. Also, I didn't say there was no difference between N. Korea & S. Korea or N. Vietnam or S. Vietnam. What I said was that the two "North" countries were not the equivalent of Hitler's Germany, nor did the conquering of S. Vietnam have the dire world consequences the Vietnam war hawks predicted. As for Israel accepting money not to defend her national interests, I think she should renounce independence now & seek to become the 51st state. To continue to accept this money turns Israel into a slave state, unable to pursue her national interests without the grand permission of foreign nations.
